Exposed Tree Stump, Arkansas Bend

I spent most of my time taking wide angle views last weekend but did manage a few detail shots too. The exposed tree stumps along the waterline at Arkansas Bend Park were particularly fascinating. The grain texture was accentuated by having spent a long time underwater and a fine coating of dried silt gave the stumps an almost petrified look.
