News for the week

Things have been rather quiet on the blog this week since I’ve been out of town on business in California and have not have a great deal of time to post. This image was taken in DFW airport on the way out to San Jose and shows a rather excellent sculpture in the new Terminal D at the airport.
While I’ve been out, both boys and Nikki have been recovering from flu, Nikki has received some fabulous news (more of which next week) and I’ve been featured as the guest photographer over on Jason St Peter’s fabulous “50% Chance of Rain” blog.
I get back to Austin tomorrow night in time for mother-in-law Rae Dollard’s show opening at the Blue Goat Gourmet in San Marcos and will be making a quick trip to Houston on Saturday for the opening of the “Boots 2 Heal” show at Morton Street Gallery in Richmond, near Houston.
