“Boots 2 Heal” Exhibition at the Morton Street Gallery, Richmond

I spent a very pleasant evening on Saturday at the opening of the “Boots 2 Heal” exhibition in the Morton Street Gallery, Richmond, just west of Houston. The show features representations of the cowboy boot in a wide variety of different media – oil, watercolour, acrylic, sculpture, mosaic, metalwork and photography and is beautifully presented on two floors of the gallery.
The event is a fund-raiser for the Children’s Cancer Hospital at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center with all the gallery commission being donated to the cause. It has the backing of some major sponsors including Stetson and Lucchese.
